Bob Torres, the developer of Lakeshore Louisiana is interested in partnering with interested investors, developers, and builders to achieve the unique concept of a Commercial District on Lake Pontchartrain. All of the earth work, drainage and levee systems were completed by the developer as of July, 2006. The required FEMA, Army Corp of Engineers, parish and state approvals and permits are in place.
All this Commercial District needs is an investor, developer, or builder that shares Torres’ vision. If you are interested in being a part of creating either The Boardwalk or The Commercial District of Lakeshore Louisiana, contact our Commercial Information Office to learn more about building and/or leasing opportunities at Lakeshore Louisiana. Below is a brief description of each section of the Commercial District of the Master-Planned Community.
The Commercial District will contain The Boardwalk at Lakeshore Louisiana and The Marina at Lakeshore Louisiana. The master design for The Boardwalk consists of shops and boutiques, restaurants, professional services, and docking facilities so that visitors can arrive at The Boardwalk by water or by land.
Developer, Bob Torres has a distinct vision for The Marina at Lakeshore Louisiana. The Marina is designed not only to service all water-going transportation within Lakeshore Louisiana, but Torres also would like to see The Marina fill a much needed marina servicing facility on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain in East St. Tammany.
Never before has there been a full-service marina facility in East St. Tammany that can provide boat slips, gas service, dry storage and maintenance. The Marina at Lakeshore Louisiana will be created to fill this public need as well as provide a convenient place for homeowners in Lakeshore Louisiana to enjoy their boating experience.
